Yeah Foodie is a personal and for-profit Food blog and some post may contains affliated links and/or review of complimentary products / services as well as paid sponsored posts / ads. All recipes shared are of my own or my families, if I have reviewed a cookbook or taken the recipe of a link (as far as I am aware of), this will be clearly indicated.
All information / opinions / recipes / reviews stated are my own and are written based on my experience. This is a PR friendly blog, hence if you are an agency or restaurant or PR agent, I welcome you to contact myself for you to share ideas and thoughts on how we could work together. I do feature lots of cookbooks reviews/features on the site, so feel free to speak to me if you are a cookbook author. I also love giveaways/competitions as it creates brand awareness. So feel free to let me know if you would like to tie up with the blog for one. Each competition/giveaway will have its own terms & conditions, this will be stated clearly on the competition page.

If we have received complimentary product or services or reviewed an item / service provided by a brand/Company for free an * will be indicated next to the title of the blog post. While if some sort of money has been exchanged, then ** will be indicated next to the post title and the hashtag #AD will be indicated on all social media channels. Otherwise all products / experience are purchased using my own money.

New GDPR Regulations
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulations comes into force on the 25th May 2018 and will replace the current regulations. The new regulation is designed to safeguard your data more securely and will apply to all blogs, businesses, groups, organisations and charities. This means that any data / email address collected for contests or under comments will be kept securely and will not be passed on to a 3rd party. If will only pass your data on to the organiser of the contest (with your permission) so that they can send you the prizes.
Personal Data and Privacy Statement
The blog does process personal data relating to clients, readers, PR agents, and those who are interested in the services we provide. We are comitted to complying with the legal obligations in respect of data protection and privacy. What is personal data? Personal data is any information relation to an identifiable living individual and this can include your name, email address, contact address and telephone numbers. This can also include Digital information such as IP addresses, and address of your interaction with the website as well as social media channels as well as any other information which you may provide. When are these data collected? These data are collected when you join any of our competition or leave any comments on our social media channels and blog. What is the lawful basis for processing your data? Your date may only be processed (with your consent) for the reason of joining a competition via the website / social media channels. Contacting you via email if you have subscribed to the channels or informing you of any enquiries, complains, requests or any other communication which is required by law and necessary. Is your data shared with anyone else? Your data is only shared with the IT support staff and other cloud-based back-up service to support the efficient running of our website and service. If you have entered a competition, only the winner’s details are sent to the organisers (with your permission) so that the organiser is able to contact you and send you the prize directly. I will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we transmit, store or otherwise process against accidental or unlawful restriction, loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure or access. Our computers and mobile services are password protected. What are your rights? You have the right to be informed about what data I collect about you, why and what lawful basis and what your rights are. You also have the right to ask me to limit or cease processing or erase information I hold about you in certain circumstances. When responding to such requests, I will tell you how such restrictons or deletions may affect our ability to fulfil our contracts with you or otherwise affect your interests.
